Regional Mobility Centre

Hwy 40

is the creation of a Regional Mobility Centre east of the constrained mountainous section of the Bow Corridor.

Like the Meet & Greet Centres in Banff and Canmore, this Regional Mobility Centre will be a break-of-bulk point for mobility services throughout the Bow Corridor and Kananaskis Country. By the 2010 to 2020 time frame, the area will be facing similar pressures to other parts of the Bow Corridor which may be managed under the Mobility Partnership.

This Mobility Centre may be built in conjunction with other planned developments near the junction of Highway 40 and the TransCanada Highway.
