The Bow Corridor Regional Mobility Strategy is built on 8 principles:

•  A Regional Approach – To recognize the systemic nature of mobility solutions throughout the Bow Corridor.

•  No More Roadway Development – No additional footprint other than twinning the TransCanada Highway west of Castle Junction.

•  Affordable – Fits within existing budgets and/or is capable of generating sustainable revenues.

•  Flexible – Adaptable to changing circumstances in such a way that solutions can be introduced incrementally, on an as-needed basis.

•  Enforceable – Conducive to human and wildlife compliance.

•  Diversity and Choices – To encourage appropriate use and enhance visitor experience.

•  Ecological Integrity – To protect and preserve wildlife and other natural resources within the Corridor.

•  Sustainable – To balance the interests of local and through traffic, visitor experiences and ecological integrity in the Bow Corridor.
