Integrate Mobility Nodes

Johnston Canyon & Bow Corridor

New Modes
The Bow Smart Mobility Partners...

will implement mobility options that enhance visitor experience of the mountain ecosystem through an integrated system that links high-speed transportation with localized options designed to appeal to a variety of experiences.

To get from one location to another along the lengthy Bow Corridor, people will move quickly and conveniently via some form of high-speed automated people mover. To access trailheads and other attractions such as the Bow Valley Parkway, Regional Mobility Nodes will serve as transition points. Each Mobility Node will offer convenient choices for enjoying the local attractions. Suitably sized and styled sightseeing vehicles, for instance, will cater to large and small groups; and shuttles will ferry hikers to the trailhead or greet guests destined for one of the many resorts located in the area. Regional Mobility Nodes exemplify the balance struck between regional solutions and local needs, preserving and enhancing the quality of experience enjoyed by visitors and residents at different locales while expediting their movements within and around the Corridor.
