Lake Louise Johnston Canyon Banff Canmore BC Border HWY 40 Introduce Parking Lot Reservations Sunshine   will manage parking at key frontcountry locations more directly starting in the Strategy's mid-term (2010-2020), working to reduce congestion and encourage ridership on the improved shuttle service. The parking lot serving Sunshine is the farthest point that vehicles can proceed (i.e., there is no through traffic). Accordingly, a parking reservation system will be implemented that serves as a requirement for gaining access to the road up the mountain. Reservations will be made over the Internet, by phone or at visitor centres.
