Lake Louise Johnston Canyon Banff Canmore BC Border HWY 40 Transition to Pedestrian Downtown Canmore   the Town of Canmore will facilitate evolution toward a pedestrian only downtown. In keeping with other measures of the Mobility Partnership, the Town of Canmore will create pedestrian and bicycle routes to access historic downtown and other commercial and visitor nodes. Canmore's Transportation Master Plan will continue to emphasize a pedestrian-oriented visitor experience and will support creation of infrastructure for walking, biking and other self-propelled options, culminating in a car-free downtown experience.
